The schools run by the CJD convey valuable perspectives for life. We look at every individual as a unique person - including mind, body and soul. We regard the needs of each individual using a holistic approach that includes religious education, physical and health education as well as promoting artistic talents and political awareness.

Our Mission: Creating Opportunity

Each year, for more than 60 years, the CJD has been creating life changing opportunities for over 150,000 youth and adult participants by seeking to awaken and encourage the potential that is found in every person. In 150 Locations, 8,000 educators and other professionals are committed to providing guidance and support in a nurturing environment for these participants. While founded on Christian principals, the CJD is inspired by the idea: "Let no one fall by the wayside." With this in mind, the CJD and its programs are open to people of all races, ethnics, and beliefs.
